I really had no idea what to expect when I pulled up Gyat.io today, but I definitely wasn’t expecting to be dropped immediately into a 3D world of busty bikini chicks, shapely naked ladies and couples doing it doggystyle. Humping Through the 3D World of Gyat.io

Gameplay is simple, because there are really only two things to do. You run around collecting money, which upgrades your sexual abilities. You use those abilities to bang other players in all kinds of positions, which you can use to upgrade your character. I thought character customization was one of the best parts of the game, and serves as a worthwhile reward for the terribly difficult task of having sex with every woman you see. Grinding in Gyat.io is way more fun than in Elden Ring.

By default, I just loaded up as a bald dude. I tapped the Model Switch button and Gyat.io gave me a few alternate options like a bald dog man, a glistening old bald man, a red-skinned bald man, and one whose features looked like cybernetics or slime. Since I’d already gotten laid moments after connecting, I had a few points I could spend adjusting other options, so I made my nose a little bigger and goblinized my face a bit. Other customizations were free, so I did my best to give him hair like mine. They didn’t have the exact style, but the color came close.

I wasn’t crazy about the soft, new age music that greeted me when I first stepped into the world of Gyat. There doesn’t currently seem to be a way to turn it off, a mild bummer as I was playing stoned with my headphones on, but the funky porn music I heard later was a perfect fit for what was happening on the screen. Bow chicka wow wow! I heard some familiar melodies in there, so I think some of this is straight-up elevator music.

For such a new game, there are already a fair number of players. It ain’t World of Warcraft or anything, but about 20 other users were connected when I visited on a Wednesday afternoon. Their Discord is active, too, with over 600 members and a nice 69 online as I type this up. I feel like Reddit would have the perfect demographics to fall in love with the game, but the r/Gyatio subreddit has already been banned for some reason.

On the off chance nobody else is connected, the Sex Positions button will actually let you engage some of them all by your lonesome. It was funny seeing my dude do standing doggy by himself on the screen, but later I made good use of the masturbation buttons: I walked up to a couple going at it, sat in front of them, and whacked off.

The Perks of Supporting the Developers

Every so often as you play, a little nag screen pops up and asks you to consider supporting the game on Patreon. Seven bucks unlocks almost everything, including progress saving, unlocked hot chicks and tentacle monsters, super tall and super small characters, furries and other fun. You also get a big-ass XP boost, which will help you progress faster.

Their Patreon page says their $7 Supporter tier unlocks “all the features”, but the $20 Legend membership lets you drive around in cars, turn into a vacuum cleaner, and get some Legend-only clothing. For a buck under a hundo, Sandbox gives you unlimited points to do whatever you want with.
