Miranda Raison

For those of you that frequently watch British television, there is a fucking babe you’ve no doubt come across. And hell, maybe you’ve even jizzed to her while watching her acting prowess. I’m talking about Miranda Raison – and she’s got fucking talent that never, ever stops!

But there is more to Miranda Raison than just a beautiful face. Join me, my horny folk, as we learn about one of the sexiest British exports of the 21st century. The fine and talented Miranda Raison, here on ThePornDude!

Miranda Raison’s early life

Miranda Raison was born in Burnham Thorpe, Norfolk, England on November 1977. Her mother was a news anchor for the Anglia News, now known as ITV1. Her father was and still is to this very day a jazz pianist.

When Miranda Raison was just five years old, her parents divorced. As a result, Miranda Raison was sent to various boarding schools for the bulk of her childhood. These weren’t shitty boarding schools, either.

Fully paid by her grandfather, Miranda Raison attended prestigious boarding schools such as Stowe School, Gresham’s School, and others. In total, Miranda Raison attended approximately five boarding schools during her childhood.

Miranda Raison fell in love with acting at one of these boarding schools. But her frequent bullying held her back from pursuing it further. After leaving due to the excessive bullying, Miranda Raison enrolled at the now-defunct Felixstowe College.

It was here that Miranda Raison fell in love all over again with acting. And it was here that she regained her confidence. After high school, she then transferred to the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art to pursue her passion for acting.

Miranda Raison was a fucking natural at acting, and it’s obvious when you watch her perform. It was obvious to talent agents as well. Upon graduating, Miranda Raison made her acting debut on the big screen!

Miranda Raison hits small screen

Miranda Raison made her film debut with Suzy Q: a 2000 Dutch television film based on a memoir. She co-starred alongside Carice Anouk van Houten in her first starring role. The film was quite the success, earning the latter actress an award nomination for the role. Though Miranda Raison wasn’t what you’d call the leading role here. Nonetheless, she gained the attention of the movers and shakers of the British entertainment industry, including the bustling theater industry. It was Miranda Raison’s first love, and she felt the curtain calling for her soon after her impressive debut in Suzy Q.

Miranda Raison’s career as a theatrical actress

Miranda Raison made her professional theatrical debut in 2002 in a production of Ben-Hur. Here, she played Ben-Hur’s fuck toy, and by all accounts, she did one hell of a job. This production lasted until 2003, when Miranda Raison transitioned to yet another production called Pains of Youth.

Based on a 100-year-old play about a group of college graduates whining about how they don’t feel fulfilled. It’s supposed to be a bit of a comedy mixed with harsh truths about modern youth (supposedly, anyway), and Miranda Raison happened to steal the fucking show in this production. She played the role of Desiree, and originally, the character was seen as blowing shit out of proportion due to the fact that she was obsessed with dying.

But, according to The Guardian, Miranda Raison presented the audience with another layer to the character:

“Miranda Raison,” writes The Guardian, “makes Desiree's death wish seem tragic rather than merely silly.”

It’s a testament to Miranda Raison’s acting chops, and it was noticed by one of the biggest directors at the time. Who the fuck was it? A goddamn pervert, that’s who!

Miranda Raison’s big and bigger breaks

In 2004, perverted director Woody Allen cast Miranda Raison in his 2004 film Match Point. At the time, it was the first of his films to be filmed in London, which was apparently a big fucking deal at the time. The film is forgettable, but it put Miranda Raison’s talents on-notice with some of the top studios in the world. She had proven she had what it took to captivate audiences on the big screen, and that’s precisely what she did the following year.

In 2005, Miranda Raison landed her biggest role to date by appearing in Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo. Unfortunately, Miranda Raison states that this was one of the biggest mistakes of her career. Here’s how Miranda Raison put it in her own words:

“[It] may as well have been the most brutal Lars von Trier film,” said Miranda Raison in reference to the director of Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo during an interview with the London Theatre in 2017. “[It was] regrettable from start to finish, [and a] hideous, hideous moment and a great lapse of judgment on my part.”

Though she highly regretted the film, it was in that same year that Miranda Raison gained her most recognizable role to date: as Jo Portman in the BBC One’s spy drama Spooks (also known internationally as MI-5). Miranda Raison joined the fourth series of Spooks, and it absolutely elevated her career to that next level she had been working so hard to achieve.

Miranda Raison became a mainstay at BBC One, appearing on two episodes of Doctor Who in 2007. The second episode actually features Miranda Raison’s jazz pianist father performing with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. How fucking awesome for ol’ Pops!

Though Miranda Raison was doing amazing work as Jo Portman in Spooks, she wanted her era to end. She asked that her character be killed off, as she felt the character had hit its limits. But, this gave her free time to go back to her first love: the theatre!

Miranda Raison returns to theater

Miranda Raison returned to the theater by playing the lead role in Anne Boleyn (she obviously fucking played Anne Boleyn). Based on Anne Boleyn herself, the play premiered at the historical Shakespeare’s Globe in the Summer season of 2010. That same season, she also played Anne Boleyn in the Shakespeare’s Globe’s production of Shakespeare’s Henry VIII.

Continuing her theatrical momentum, Miranda Raison went on to star in The Physicists: A Comedy in Two Acts and The River. The latter was highly regarded as the biggest fucking ticket in London of the year. Most notably, Miranda Raison was a standout in the performance, leading to even more longevity on the theater scene.

Miranda Raison continued to star in theater productions such as The Winter’s Tale and Harlequinade in 2015 and 2016, respectively. During her theatrical roles, she continued to star in several films and series, such as the third season of the legal drama Silk.
