CJ Perry

If you watched WWE or AEW wrestling between 2014 and 2024, chances are, you saw a sexy as fuck blonde bombshell that looked like she would rip your balls off. Typically speaking with an Eastern European accent, she would walk to the ring with a wrestler named Rusev, also known as Miro. Once you saw her, you couldn’t forget her.

That’s been the trend for one CJ Perry for all of her life. Once you see her, speak to her, and are in her presence, there’s no use fighting it: you’re going to be attracted to her no matter what. See what makes CJ Perry such an irresistible figure not only in the world of professional wrestling, but in entertainment as a whole.

So keep it fucking here, fuck face! Keep reading all about the one and only CJ Perry here on ThePornDude, and discover why she’s beloved amongst her fans. But first, let’s look at CJ Perry’s origins.

CJ Perry’s early life

CJ Perry was born On March 1985 in Gainesville, Florida, USA. But she didn’t stay there for long. Both CJ Perry and her three siblings moved with their parents to the Latvian Soviet Socialist Republic (or Latvia) as Christian missionaries.

The family stayed there for quite some time. Undoubtedly, CJ Perry spent a bunch of time with her family during these years. Because of this, CJ Perry became quite close to her mother and was determined to be a dancer just like her. Specifically, a ballet dancer.

So she did just that. At just the age of 14, CJ Perry attended the Riga Choreography School in Latvia. It’s a big fucking deal, because this school is THE ballet school of the Latvian National Opera! Huge fucking deal!

After graduating high school, CJ Perry moved back to the United States. She had been gone for years at this point, but she wanted to go back to her roots. Plus, she wanted to try to make a name for herself as a dancer, so going back to America was a no-brainer for her.

CJ Perry moved to New York City where she danced at a variety of venues, such as the Broadway Dance Center. But she moved back to her home state of Florida to enroll at Florida State University (FSU) to further her education even more. There, she majored in dance and also acting.

While enrolled at FSU, CJ Perry was able to land some modeling gigs with brands like Red Bull. It propelled her to move to Las Vegas, Nevada, USA after graduation. There, she hoped to start a career in show business and become a STAR!

CJ Perry’s early entertainment career

CJ Perry had dreams of becoming a professional dancer, and she was able to live out those dreams after graduating. But she was given the opportunity to join a pop group. Soon enough, she was part of the new group No Means Yes.

But the pop group was a total flop. They released one single, and recorded two other songs before breaking up a year later. Even though nothing really came out of the venture, CJ Perry looked back fondly on the experience in a May 2013 interview with SayWhatNews:

“A girlfriend of mine in college referred me to the man that was putting the group together. I honestly was so scared to sing and I didn't even know a song to sing at the audition so I sang ""Jesus Loves Me."" I remember them saying ‘we can work with her tone because she has the right look and she is a model that break dances.’ I am so thankful to this day for that experience because I do not think I would have ever gotten the role in Pitch Perfect if I hadn't overcome my fear to open my mouth and sing.”

The experience from the opportunity turned out to be more valuable than the gig itself. She soon found work as a backup dancer for top hip hop artists of the early 2010s like Akon, Nelly, Usher, and more. With a taste for the entertainment industry, she was hungry for even more education.

That’s when she decided to train as an actress at the legendary Groundlings School. It’s an improv troupe in Los Angeles, California and has trained some of the greatest American comedians of the last 50 years. Really, it’s almost a who’s who of comedy greats.

This intensive training led CJ Perry to securing roles as an actress in the films Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2 along with the lead role in the television series I.C.I.R.U.S. Yet, her acting chops led her to her most renowned role. And it was likely one that she never thought she’d ever find herself in!

CJ Perry enters the pro wrestling industry

In 2013, CJ Perry joined professional wrestling company WWE under their developmental brand, NXT. Here, she took on the role of a no-nonsense Russian social ambassador for client, Alexander Rusev. Using a Russian accent, Lana would dedicate every match to her hero, Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The gimmick that unfolded over the next few years was at times one of the hottest acts in the entire company. Decrying anti-American rhetoric that got the American crowds pissed off, Lana would tell the United States how much they fucking suck. They’d boo the hell out of her, but they couldn’t take their eyes off of her because, goddamn she was fucking fine!

CJ Perry as Lana would walk to the ring like a classic blonde-haired Russian villain. Her short skirt and long legs made you want to start jerking off to her. At one point, she walked her client Alexander Rusex to the ring in an all-white outfit while he rode on top of a fucking tank!

In 2016, WWE decided it would be a good idea to transition from a popular manager to a wrestler. It was a pretty lackluster move, as Lana’s character wasn’t the same. She blended in with many of the female roster, and the fans didn’t really give too much of a shit after that.

Still, 2016 was a time of big changes for CJ Perry. She actually married the wrestler she was managing, Alexander Rusev (real name Miroslav Barnyashev) and debuted on the reality series Total Divas. She continued to wrestle for around five years, never really gaining any traction. Eventually, her husband was released from WWE, and she too was released nearly two years later.

While released, CJ Perry starred in the reboot of VH1’s The Surreal Life. As she was pursuing other ventures, her husband wrestled for WWE’s competitor, AEW, as the wrestler Miro. CJ Perry joined him in September 2023, only to leave less than a year later. For the foreseeable future, CJ Perry was done with the wrestling industry.

CJ Perry leaves pro wrestling and her husband

One of the reasons why CJ Perry may have left AEW quite quickly is because her and Miro separated at the end of 2023. It would have been quite awkward for her to work with her separated husband, so moving on was probably the best move for her. By the Summer of 2024, she announced she was finished with AEW, and likely, the pro wrestling industry as a whole.

So what does the future hold for CJ Perry? That’s fucking unclear! She’s a multi-talented star that excels in anything she touches (except for that pop band – but that probably wasn’t her fault!).
